Test Tube Heater

Test Tube Heater

Used to control the temperature of test tubes and their contents during oocyte recovery and minimise temperature-induced damage to the oocyte. Designed to accept up to 6 Falcon® 2001 test tubes.  

  • The clear front panel allows continuous observation of the test tube contents.   
  • The heater uses 12 VDC power.
  • The heater is powered by the Power Supply (K-APS-300) provided with the unit.  
  • The heater maintains an operating temperature of 36.9 °C.  
  • The amber light on the front of the heater signifies that the unit is powered. When the light flashes, the heater is at its optimal operating temperature.

The K-APS-300 Power Supply is provided with the Test Tube Heater now, so ordering the Power Supply separately is no longer necessary. The Power Supply will continue to be available to order as a replacement part. The Power Supply that is provided will correspond with your country's electrical outlet specification.
